Letter G Activities

 Making gum drop gals and guys    

Looking at our bean seeds that are beginning to grow.  We wrapped a bean seed in a wet paper towel and put them in baggie for few days.  We could see seed sprouting and beginning to grow.  Mrs. Haynes forgot her seed on shelf.  In few days when we noticed it, stem was growing through towel.  We could see roots too.

We also looked at everyone's baby picture and tried to guess who they were.  Then we put names on pictures and made a tape of how long they were when they were born.  Next we measured and weighted everyone now.  Most people has more than doubled in height.  Order also changed.  Some who were longest at birth were not the tallest now.  It was fun to see how we have grown.
